i can't find a version of the video for "Ditch Digger" that isn't protected by anti-Mac bullshit so here's "Sturdy Wrists."
but i have to say, when i first saw the video for "Ditch Digger" i nearly lost it. i'd never really heard a song like that before and i definitely had never seen greased up, tattooed love boys that were portuguese-american. for a portuguese-american girl who'd been ostricized by the kids at the social club since she was 4-years-old for being "wicked weirdo" it was a pretty big revelation.
it was new england so you could swing a dead cat and hit a portuguese kid, but the cool ones were scattered and it'd be a long time before i met them.
