Weird Deer

Nobody tells me anything.
Weird Deer.
Like the ones living in the median of the Taconic Parkway.
Late at night the reflection of their eyes is the only thing
marking the road's borders across the peripheral dark.
I hoped no one else would find them
but I couldn't stop from explaining
their eyes in the woods surrounding the road.

Keep it like a secret.
